Emily Woods and Friends Friday, August 19th Doors 7 PM | Show 8 PM 19+ | ID Required Emily Woods has been telling jokes for 6 years, Emily hasn’t seen her dad for 9 years, Emily’s got some really cool friends though. Join Emily Woods and friends for a celebration of silliness with guaranteed laughs and love. Featuring Erin Haley, Julya Vandersloot, Patrica Ellen, Lucia Ribeiro, Used Victoria and not Emily’s dad. The second half of this show is also a work in progress for Emily’s hour long fringe show, “Emily Woods: Thanks For Leaving Me, Dad.” Premiering at the 2022 Kelowna Fringe Festival. Spending the last six years between Victoria and London, England, Emily has established herself as a stellar comedian. Emily is known for silly confessional storytelling, crowd work and hosting. She’s not afraid of being dirty and honest; always leaving the audience feeling empowered and excited! One bathroom has a larger stall with its own sink and a grab bar (more details in the ‘Bathrooms’ section). ▪︎ The Victoria Event Centre currently does not have an operational elevator, and there is one long flight of stairs at the venue entrance. The only way into the VEC is up 27 wood stairs, 11″ deep, 6″ high. There are wooden 2.5” handrails 38” up the wall on each side of the staircase (54” apart, so not graspable on both sides at once.
