Rebeccah Love's quartet of short films captures the slow descent of a modern young woman into madness. In the span of four films, we see a relatively well-adjusted young woman slowly succumb to a psychotic hold as she struggles to make sense of the world around her, turning to theatrical conventions in order to find her voice in the chaos of her condition. Quirky and disturbing, these works comment on motherhood, partnership, climate change, institutional violence, and the importance of community.
Featuring Guest Speaker Dr. Vicky Stergiopoulos, Physician-in-Chief at CAMH.
All proceeds will go towards Rebeccah Love’s next film project.
