About Elizabeth Winkler: My approach is warm, empathic, depth-oriented, and empowering to the client. I incorporate mindfulness and meditation to help accelerate my clients’ personal growth and expansion. I call mindfulness the bullet train to freedom because when it is integrated in the therapeutic process, clients are able to effectively process emotions and untether deeply embedded belief systems at the root.
I honor and respect every client’s boundaries and desire for what they want out of therapy. I find that the best work is achieved when the trust we have built together in therapy is strong. This allows your therapy to evolve as you do.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a davidji Certified Masters of Wisdom and Meditation Teacher.
I am also the founder and creator of Heart Surgery, a daily mindfulness practice for children to help them effectively process emotions of the heart. From this, I created the Heart Surgery Kit, a unique, creative mindfulness kit that can be taken anywhere and used anytime. I teach Mindfulness and also bring The Heart Surgery Process all over the globe. I was in West Africa in November 2018 and just got the Spanish translation for the kit and sent them to Peru and going to Mexico City community soon. The Heart Surgery Kit is available online but I also enjoy going to homes, and communities to teach at a group level.
