Erica Williams Simon is an entrepreneur, author, host and advisor who grew up in her family's church and commits part of her time to exploring how we engage with faith traditions that honor our history while pushing culture forward.
Dr. Maytha Alhassen is a Muslim journalist, writer, teacher, activist and healer who finds love and inspiration in Islamic traditions and Sufi mysticism. Her work often challenges and informs popular narratives around Islamic culture in film and TV.
You don't need to have a regular faith practice to participate in this important conversation around what faith and tradition means in our lives today.
The salon is a 60-90 minute open format structured with intermittent conversations amongst the hosts and then facilitated dialog in circle for all attendees to participate and share.
