Amaro, Cocktails, and more! Join us as we learn, taste, and tour local Amaro distillery, Fast Penny Spirits! Inspired by Sicilan heritage and a desire to create a sustainable, botanical-rich American-made amaro, Fast Penny founder, Jamie Hunt, created Amaricano and Amaricano Bianca after more than two years in recipe development. On this tour you’ll get to meet their passionate team, learn about the process, commitment to sustainability, and what makes Fast Penny a little different in the world of spirits. The tour will last 45-60 minutes, and is followed by a delightful Amaricano cocktail on the Tasting Deck. The tours start promptly on schedule, so please arrive a few minutes early. Fast Penny Spirits’ Seattle home is nestled in North Seattle’s Coastal Transportation Shipyard on the Queen Anne side of the Ballard Bridge. The shipyard offers free parking, and is also conveniently located next to the Ship Canal Bike Trail.
