Faux Real, the Franco-American duo of brothers Elliott and Virgile Arndt, defy categorization. Known for high-energy DIY performances featuring fringe-lined boiler suits, barefoot dances, and crowd-splitting high-kicks, their style blends Iggy Pop's rawness with campy Eurodance vibes.
Debuting with their self-titled EP in 2020, Faux Real's “Anti-Rock” sound evolved during the pandemic into glossier pop, exploring themes of pastiche, hustle culture, and authenticity—often en franglais. Now touring in support of their new album Faux Ever, they draw on influences like Talking Heads, Björk, and 90s Eurodance, mixing undeniable pop hooks with offbeat charm.
