Join our Summer Splash 1 Event and participate in the Fortnite Duos online tournament and see if you have what it takes to be the Royale Champions. This is a five round points-based tournament for bragging rights, prizes and the chance to be crowned one of Futures First Gaming's Fortnite regional champions. Top 3 split the day's prize pool and qualify for our Ultimate Championship Tournament later this year!
Tournament Format & Rules:
You will play 5 consecutive duos matches. Futures First Gaming will provide the custom match code.
After EACH match YOU MUST take a screenshot of your match stats (placing and eliminations) - Each team member will have 5 total photos at the completion of the Round. Each team should have 10 photos combined.
After the conclusion of your 5 matches the Round will be finished. Each team member must upload screenshots to the Futures First Gaming discord, which will be provided to all registrants, along with your TEAM NAME. YOU MUST CLEARLY LABEL WHICH GAME EACH OF THE SCREENSHOTS IS FOR WHEN SUBMITTING.
Futures First will calculate your scores and enter into the official FFG scoring table to determine the top three finishers.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE SCORING FORMAT
Scoring for each Duos game in the match is as follows:
Victory Royale = 10 Points
2nd-3rd = 7 Points
4th-6th = 5 Points
7th-9th = 3 Points
10th-50th = 1 Point
Each elimination (kill) = 2 Point
Most combined team eliminations (kills) per game = 5 Bonus Points
Example: 3rd place + 4 combined eliminations (4 being the most in that game for any team) = 20 Points (7 + 8 + bonus 5)
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU SUBMIT SCREEN SHOTS FOR EACH GAME. WE CAN NOT VALIDATE SCORE WITHOUT THEM WHICH MAY RESULT IN FORFEITURE.
ABSOLUTELY NO CHEATING! NO TEAMING WITH ANOTHER DUO! IF IT IS DETERMINED THAT YOU ARE CHEATING THEN THE FIRST OCCURRENCE WILL RESULT IN A FIVE POINT PENALTY. THE SECOND OCCURRENCE WILL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION.
