Austin’s own C3 Presents, in collaboration with Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at The University of Texas at Austin, is proud to announce highly acclaimed British artist Bruce Munro’s Field of Light will debut on September 9, 2022 at the Wildflower Center.
Illuminating 16 acres in the Texas Arboretum at the Wildflower Center, Field of Light is a stunning display of 28,000 vibrant solar-powered, fiber-optic light stems that showcase the intersection of art, technology, and nature. The installation unites with the outdoors, celebrating the natural topography of the landscape and creating an immersive and emotional experience for guests of all ages.
Please note that the Field of Light experience is an outdoors, self-guided walking tour. The trail is almost a mile and includes gravel and mulched pathways.
A portion of the proceeds benefit the Wildflower Center. Guests can enjoy the exhibit September through December 2022. Get social media updates on Instagram and Facebook.

Tickets for September and October are currently on sale. Tickets for November and December will go on sale on September 22.
VIP ticket holders may enter and leave the venue at any time on the day listed on their ticket. General Admission guests must arrive during the timeslot listed on their ticket but are welcome to stay for as long as they’d like.

Parking information
General Admission Ticket Holders: Parking is along the street on LaCrosse Ave to the east of Mopac, a short walk up to the Wildflower Center.
VIP Ticket Holders: You have access to preferred on-site parking at the venue. Park your vehicle in the main Wildflower Center lot upon arrival and follow signs for Field of Light. Directions here.
