Description
The focus of this event is for the Performance Analysis community to come together in the context of Gaelic Games. It is relevant to everyone included analysts, coaches and caters for all levels of experience.
The event will be shaped around the Sports Science Framework, along with the Gaelic Games Performance Analysis guide for good practice with contributions from Performance Analysis practitioners across Gaelic Games.
This event is an annual event and has successfully being running for the last number of years.

Evan Talty:
MSc Applied Sports Coaching from University of Limerick
Program advisor to Setanta College
Evan has worked with county teams at all codes in both coaching and analysis capacities
Currently working with various sports teams both nationally and internationally on the use of PA within the coaching process
Brian Mc Clelland:
Performance Analyst at Sport Ireland Institute, leads the performance analysis delivery for the Ireland senior women hockey team.
2024 seen Brian work with Track Cycling at the Paralympic Games with Team Ireland winning a silver medal in the female tandem track event.
His role with Sport Ireland has seen him work with a wide range of sports; Modern Pentathlon, Diving and Equestrian.
Brian has extensive GAA performance analysis experience including 8 years as lead analyst for Armagh Senior footballers.
Colm Nally:
Colm is a seasoned coach with over 20 years’ experience coaching both club and county.
He has spent many years coaching juvenile and adult teams with his local club Newtown Blues in Drogheda.
He started his football career playing with O’Dwyers in Balbriggan, then moved to Drogheda where he played for Newtown Blues winning 3 Senior County Championships & 2 of which he captained.
He has represented both Dublin & Louth at county level.
He coached has the Louth, Meath and Kildare senior footballers.
Colm is a Master Tutor for the GAA & Sport Ireland.
Kevin Mc Guigan:
Kevin has been a practicing sports performance analyst for 15 years, having graduated from UUJ in 2006 with an Undergraduate in Sport Science, and subsequently a MSc in Sports PA from IT Carlow in 2017.
Current head of Performance Analysis with Swim Ireland, having formed part of the support team for Team Ireland swimming team at Paris 2024, headlined by 1 gold and 2 bronze medals.
10+ Years of experience in inter-county support, having led performance analysis service in Down, Antrim & Wicklow during this time period.
Lead author on several academic publications based on Gaelic football
Founder of the current model for video sharing between inter-county Gaelic football analysts
Delivered performance analysis projects across a range of sports including Gaelic football, swimming, badminton, boxing, wheelchair basketball & lawn bowls.
Brian Fitzpatrick:
A seasoned sports coach and analyst with over a decade of experience in the field. Since starting his coaching journey in 2009 and venturing into sports analysis in 2011, he has developed a deep expertise in athletic performance. Brian holds a First Class Honours degree in Sports Science, with a dissertation focused on the Welsh Rugby Union.
In 2014, he worked with the Dublin Senior Hurlers and later joined London Irish in the English Premiership, as well as IQ Rugby, from 2014 to 2017. He founded BF Sports Analysis in 2017, which has since collaborated with 20% of All Ireland League clubs.
Brian’s experience also includes serving as an analyst and defense coach for the Poland National Team in 2018 and working with Sporting Union Agen in ProD2 in France for the 2021-2022. In addition to his practical work, he was a lecturer at the Portobello Institute and has authored an academic paper on expected points in rugby.
Lisa Fallon:
Lisa Fallon, a groundbreaking football coach and UEFA Pro License holder from Dublin, made history as the first female head coach in professional men’s football in Ireland and the UK.
Currently working alongside Arsene Wenger in the FIFA Global Development Division, she has coached Galway United, Chelsea, Cork City, London City Lionesses and had six years with Northern Ireland’s men’s national team. Lisa advocates for high-performance cultures in sports and holds key positions in organisations such as Paralympics Ireland and Sport Ireland
In 2018 she was part of the Dublin Senior Football set-up under Jim Gavin, winning the Allianz National League, Leinster Championship and All-Ireland. A media pioneer, she was the first female football panellist on national TV in Ireland.
