The inaugural Global Gaelic Games Social Festival is taking place in the Fitzgerald Stadium on the 18th & 19th of October 2024.
Join us on Friday night for the opening ceremony of the Kerry HomeComing Festival and the Global Gaelic Games Social Festival at 8pm.
The opening of the Kerry Homecoming Festival will feature a flavour of the Samhain Spectacle performances which will take place during the festival. The event will introduce the Cailleach (Hag/Witch) who is the goddess of the winter months, whose season begins on Samhain October 31st and will include music and fire displays.
On Saturday join us for a day of games from 10am-4pm and the opportunity to meet our winning LGFA All Ireland Team and the Brendan Martin Cup.
The Kerry Homecoming Festival is presented by Kerry County Council as part of the Global Irish Festival Series, which is a joint initiative between Fáilte Ireland and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
