The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) presented by FPL are the proud sponsors of the Commissioner's Welcome Reception and Luncheon. While enjoying a beautiful afternoon on the grounds of Jungle Island, over a charming spread, premiere musical entertainment, we will honor amazing HBCU alumnae in Sports, Politics, Social Justice and Entertainment, as well as hear a special keynote address. This celebration confirms the importance of legacy and amplifies the rich history that is HBCU's.
Not only is this event a celebration, but also a pivotal opportunity in the weekend to reach our monetary goals for our scholarship fund, in which we will select qualifying students from both participating schools.
