Experience the pulse of hip-hop culture like never before at the GRAMMY Museum®’s Hip-Hop Block Party. This event, inspired by the GRAMMY Museum’s Hip-Hop America: The Mixtape Exhibit, ignites the Museum with an array of interdisciplinary arts and experiences, inviting new audiences to immerse themselves in the vibrant tapestry of hip-hop. From dynamic dance showcases lead by Leslie “Big Lez” Segar and Richard “Swoop” Whitebear, to a cutting-edge fashion show featuring Cross Colours and the Black Design Collective, to a captivating Sight & Sound photo gallery presented by Alvin Allure & Entertain the Angels and Corentin Villemeur, to riveting live performances by UraelB and Xian Bell, and vibes curated by Tempest and DJ R-Tistic on the ones and twos, each floor of the Museum will be activated, transforming into a living canvas of artistic expression. The Hip-Hop Block Party will celebrate and empower local artists and businesses, creating an unforgettable celebration of creativity, community, and culture in celebration of Black Music Month. This event is made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
