Discover and taste an exquisite selection of wines from the region’s most prestigious and iconic wineries. Tastings will range from their best-sellers to rare museum specials, showcasing the utmost quality of this award-winning wine region. As you sip your wine, indulge in gourmet delicacies and enjoy the afternoon sunshine amongst the vineyard. Your ticket includes mouthwatering unlimited bites of the best of WA produce from seafood to BBQ delights, offering the ultimate pairings of your favourite wine and cuisine. Alongside the tastings, enjoy live music from classic big band sounds to contemporary reimagined classics as well as a daily featured set from Italian Opera Singer, Silvia Colloca, while exploring the garden activations or relaxing on the lawns of Howard Park. For those who want to delve deeper into the wines, there’s an opportunity to add on taster wine masterclasses. Held in the cellar door and Wine Chapel, these masterclasses will take you on a sensory journey of discovery, joined by the winemakers themselves. Plus, at the end of the session, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase and take home your favourite bottles. For an additional fee, you'll have the rare opportunity to explore and taste carefully curated, aged wines from the Margaret River region’s most prestigious cellars at Howard Park Wines. These rare vintages, typically not available to the public, offering a unique journey through the history and craftsmanship of Margaret River’s finest wines, thoughtfully presented by launded wine writers Nick Ryan and Erin Larkin. *everyone participating in a masterclass must also have a Grand Tasting ticket. Ticket includes four 30ml tastings of museum wines hosted by Erin Larkin or Nick Ryan in the private setting of the Wine Chapel at Howard Park Wines and will run for 45 minutes. Saturday 16 November 2.45pm - Should We Age Chardonnay? with Erin Larkin Margaret River produces Chardonnays that are high in acidity, and due to the bunch structure of the ubiquitous Gingin Clone, the wines also have excellent structural integrity via the phenolics. Do these attributes naturally need the wines to ageing in our cellars? Sunday 17 November 1:30pm - Clone Wars: Chardonnay & Cabernet with Erin Larkin Bring out the clones! Sunday 17 November 2:45pm - Mature Beauty with Nick Ryan The essence of a great wine region is an ability to produce wines of longevity. Here we mount the case for Margaret River's ability to do just that. This venue has parking available, or you can book your spot on the bus through the website.
