Description
In this live musical performance, it’s 1959 at Rydell High School, and the senior class is in rare form. The too-cool-for-school “Burger Palace Boys” are stealing hub-caps and their gum-snapping “Pink Ladies” are wearing bobby sox and pedal pushers. Hot-rodding gangster Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski, started a secret romance over the summer, but now back at school, their love is a bit more complicated. Will Danny remain the coolest guy at school and will he and Sandy stay together? The whole gang sings and dances around their romance, through hit songs as "Greased Lightnin'", "We Go Together”, and “Mooning”, recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation.
