The Great North Battle returns for its 7th edition in Toronto!

A true celebration of hip hop shining light on all of the elements with battles, showcases and workshops over 2 days open to all ages.
Saturday June 1st will showcase the worlds of battle rap with a live over a beat freestyle rap tournament hosted by our friends from King Of The Dot with 4 hungry MCs all vying for title of champion, a live beat production battle between the legendary Fresh Kils and Memorex curated by PRTN SLCT, and then Beatbox Canada shall be hosting the seeding rounds/first battle rounds of both the solo/loopstation categories of our stacked international beatbox competition with judge and special guest showcases mixed in all coming together at legendary El Mocambo (Day 1, 464 Spadina Ave. #462, Toronto, ON M5T 2G8).
Sunday June 2nd at the Rec Room ( Day 2, 255 Bremner Blvd, Toronto, ON M5V 3M9) will kick off with a unique beatbox workshop by 2 time Great North Champ Saint Villain, then dive into the world of breakdancing with a 7 to Smoke style breakdance battle hosted by our good friends at UBL, afterwards and to end our evening Beatbox Canada takes back over with the finals of our solo and loopstation beatbox battles with amazing showcases from our beatbox judges and Toronto's own Dylan Hennesy!
