Description
That Clean Life invites you to a fun night of connection and conversation with Toronto's wellness professional community.
Our goal is to bring together the wellness entrepreneurs of Toronto including nutritionists, naturopaths, trainers, experts and coaches in a supportive, non-competitive environment to connect and have a meaningful conversation about growing our wellness businesses.
As wellness professionals, there are so many ways our work can have a positive impact, and so many directions you can take to achieve success. This event creates a space where you can connect with colleagues and learn from fellow entrepreneurs about the path they've taken, what's working in their business, lessons learned and discuss how we can collaborate to be better not only as individuals, but also as an industry as a whole. Our hope is for you to walk away from this event feeling inspired, connected and supported by the community.
Doors open at 7PM for snacks, refreshments and connection. A panel discussion and Q&A will start at 7:30PM, with a focus on the topic "Growing Your Wellness Business". The panel will feature an open conversation between well-known Toronto wellness professionals including Rachel Molenda, Ashley Sauvé, Sylvie Tetrault, Sarah Goldstein and Abigail Hopkins.
The event will be held at Shecosystem, a women focused co-working and wellness space in Toronto that values the feminine in the entrepreneurial journey and makes self-care a priority.
Whether you are just starting out in the wellness industry, or are fully established - all are welcome. We can't wait to see you there!
More About The Panel:
Rachel Molenda, CNP (Instagram | Web)
Rachel Molenda is a Toronto-based Holistic Nutritionist (CNP) who specializes in helping women heal from emotional and disordered eating while establishing a healthier and happier relationship with food and themselves. After a 10 year journey with disordered eating and a stressful career in advertising, Rachel dove into the world of holistic nutrition, where she healed her own health issues while completing her studies at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Rachel works one-on-one with clients to get to the root of what’s causing their emotional or disordered eating, with the intention of healing their relationship with food and helping them to discover the strength and beauty that exists within them.
Ashley Sauvé, CHN (Instagram | Web)
Ashley Sauvé is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist with a background in culinary arts and Canadian food labelling. Her practice is based in Toronto, where she works out of Higher Health, the city's boutique naturopathic centre and IV lounge. Inspired by a desire for a deeper understanding of nutrition than Pinterest had to offer, she quit her job at a technology company and returned to school for culinary arts with a specialization in nutrition, and later a diploma in applied holistic nutrition. Ashley's areas of specialty include Celiac Disease, digestive concerns, food intolerances, and nutrition for women's reproductive health. She works both independently and as part of an integrative healthcare team to provide nutrition counselling, meal planning and wellness education to her clients in both one-on-one and group settings. She is also the resident nutritionist at That Clean Life, where she brings her passion for the wellness industry and love of food to life through recipe development, meal plan creation, and educational resources.
Sarah Goldstein, CNP (Instagram | Web)
Sarah Goldstein is a Toronto-based Nutritionist who is continually inspired by the power of food and its ability to heal the body. Her ultimate goal is to empower individuals to take an active role in their health, while establishing a connection with the environment, community and food sources. Sarah graduated from McGill University with a degree in Anthropology and Psychology, then continued at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition where she attained her designation as Certified Nutritional Practitioner. Today, she runs her own company, Sarah Goldstein Nutrition, which is a multi-faceted nutrition practice. She offers one-on-one nutrition counselling, meal planning, clinical testing, group coaching and educational services including nutrition workshops, speaking engagements and cooking classes for both the community and corporate clients.
Sylvie Tetrault, RHN (Instagram | Web)
Sylvie Tetrault is a Toronto-based Sports Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N) and Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) who works with professional athletes (NHL, UFC, Olympians, Ironman etc.) and high performers with a mission to help all her clients to find their Inner Athlete through hands on strength training, nutrition, and lifestyle coaching. We are all capable of performing optimally in our fields and Sylvie uses her background as a competitive athlete to now help others feel unstoppable in their purpose in life.
Abigail Hopkins, RN (Instagram | Web)
Abigail Hopkins is a Culinary Nutrition Expert, Registered Nurse and the co-founder of That Clean Life. After hitting rock bottom with her own health, Abigail was forced to make some serious changes in her eating habits. After much trial and error, she discovered the concept of clean eating and meal planning, which completely transformed her life. This is what inspired her to create something that would help others do the same. While working full-time as a Registered Nurse, Abigail created a simple e-book to share her standard weekly meal plan, grocery list and recipes, with the goal to help her friends and family eat a bit healthier. Little did she know at the time that this little e-book would blossom into a full-fledged meal planning platform that would go on to help tens of thousands of people learn how to make eating healthy simple and fun. Abigail has now fully transitioned from her career as Registered Nurse, into the world of nutrition technology. She firmly believes that when wellness entrepreneurs have the right tools, get clear on their mission and practice perseverance, there are no limits to what they can achieve in this good life.
