This event is for staff from Nottingham Schools Trust (NST) schools only. Andrew Wrenn, History Consultant, will once again be delivering CPD for us, with the focus of this session being: 'Teaching Local History in the Primary Curriculum'. This practical session will look at how to weave in local history through the primary curriculum from EYFS to Key Stage Two. It will show this through use of examples, ranging from regional history through to using an historic school site, and how a focus on their locality can help make the curriculum more relevant, engaging and interesting for pupils.
