The ultimate line-up of Europe’s top tribute bands salutes some the greatest music icons of all time. Individually they perform live to huge audiences. Now for the first time six stunning stage shows are brought together in a one-day celebration at our huge riverside venue close to the M25 near Hampton Court in Surrey. Legendary DJ Mick Brown will be spinning the tunes for us throughout the day. Capital Radio legend Mick Brown currently presents the drive time show on Radio Jackie, South West London’s hugely popular station. A massive fan of music from our festival’s era, Mick is a great supporter of Icons 2019 and will add a great vibe to the day! Due to unforeseen circumstances Tony Blackburn won't be appearing at Icons Festival. DJ Mick Brown will now be spinning the tunes for us between shows. The selection of artists include; Eagles - Performed by ‘The Illegal eagles’,AC/DC - Performed by ‘Live/Wire’, Micheal Jackson - Performed by ‘Ben - The Ultimate Tribute’, Queen - Performed by ‘Killer Queen’, Thin Lizzy - Performed by ‘Limehouse Lizzy’ and David Bowie - Performed by ‘Absolute Bowie’. No-one suggests these icons can ever be replaced. But for those who revere their music this is an unmissable opportunity to hear and see musicians talented in their own right. They are simply, tributes at the very best. Icons Festival 2019 is a family event set in a grassland park with easy rail connections presenting camping and caravanning, quality food and drinks - and above all, a celebration of awesome contributions made to music by artists who were truly iconic. The gates will open at 10am and the event will come to an end at 10:30pm. TICKETS ARE ISSUED AS E-TICKETS - YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH THE TICKETS AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD & PRINT. What time should you arrive? The gates will open at 10am and entertainment will begin at 11:30am. The bands are all of excellent quality and are not to be missed, please arrive promptly so not to miss out! There will be security search policy will be operated on entry to the festival arena so please allow plenty of time. Tony Blackburn: We regret that due to circumstances beyond our control, Tony Blackburn will not be appearing at Icons Festival 2019. We are delighted to welcome Mick Brown of Capital Radio and Radio Jackie fame as our host for the day. Upgrades to TicketsVIP Tickets include a guaranteed VIP viewing area near the stage, exclusive use of the VIP bar, toilet facilities, car parking included, all along with the potential to meet some of the artists. Standard tickets can be upgraded to VIP Tickets on the day of the festival. This can be purchased for £44 per ticket upon entry. You will be able to do this at our ticket office on the day. PARKING There is plenty of parking at the festival and the cost is £10.00 per day, per car. This is purchased on the day of the festival only. To encourage safe driving you can leave your car overnight but it must be removed by 11:00 am the morning after the Festival. Please arrive with plenty of time as we envisage car parking to be busy on the day. To help us speed up the parking process for all, it is recommended that you bring cash. NOTE: PARKING MUST BE INSIDE THE APPS COURT SITE IN DESIGNATED CAR PARKS ONLY. THERE IS NO PARKING ON HURST ROAD OR NEIGHBOURING STREETS. ANY VEHICLE PARKED ON THOSE ROADS WILL BE TOWED OFF AND CLAMPED WITH A REMOVAL FEE £350. THIS IS RIGOROUSLY ENFORCED BY THE POLICE TO KEEP TRAFFIC IN THE AREA MOVING. PUBLIC TRANSPORT Apps Court can be accessed from the following railway stations: Hampton Court, Esher, Walton upon Thames and Hersham. From mainline stations you can change at Surbiton for Hampton Court, which is two stops away. Please note that the last train from Hampton Court is at 23:45pm.
