The Sexuality & Gender Advocacy Committee (SGA) at the University of Alberta are pleased to present the 5th annual Inclusive Health Conference! Our purpose is to educate and inform healthcare professionals, so they can provide inclusive and competent healthcare to LGBTQ+ patients.
This year keynote speaker Dr. Lori E. Ross will present on "Bisexuality: Addressing the 'B' in Health Care Contexts." Other sessions through the day will focus on intersectionality, LGBTQ+ youth, PReP, family planning, and LGBTQ+ immigrant health. For the first time this year, the conference will also include a Hormone Replacement Training session for primary healthcare providers, and a poster session featuring LGBTQ+ health research.
