Though fusion seems to be the easiest way to package Indian classical music for younger audiences, executing it is far from easy India Fusion Music Festival by Rishi Media aims to bring India's rich music traditions of India to the Americas.
Lead by AR Raihana, sister of Grammy award winning musician AR Rahman. Indian Fusion Music Festival 2017 brings artists from the classis Indian music schools such as Hindustani, Carnatic, infused with Indian Folk, a touch of jazz and the modern music from Indian movies, pop, rock. AR Raihana is accompanied by: Shashaa Tirupati – Singer Classic, Modern, Pandit. Krishna Ballesh – Singer, Shehnai Flute MK Balaji – Singer, Song writer TV Host RP Shravan – Singer Classic, modern Dr. Narayan - Singer Classic, Folk Karthika Shaji - Singer folk, modern Keith Peters – Bass guitar Kabuli Rath - Instrumentalist, Composer, Arranger, Conductor With Vuvuri Kumar on Drums, Nagaraj on percussion, Kumar on Flute and key board artists Kaviarasan, Manikandan and Yuvaraj.
