The 2021 Social Impact Club (SIC) Conference will be the fourth annual event hosted at Ivey Business School. SIC was formed as a merger between the Ivey Not-for-Profit and Ivey Sustainability clubs. SIC’s mission is to advocate and act for positive social and environmental impact across all industries. The conference is the largest opportunity for thought leadership, workshops, and networking in London’s impact space.
The theme for this year’s conference is Integration. The concept of integration looks at social impact from two unique perspectives: integration into career and into business models. Integration will highlight the breadth and scope of career pathways within social impact, showcasing the diverse industries (tech, finance, consulting, retail, government, non-profit, etc) that can intersect with the impact world. The conference will explore this intersectional space in terms of current initiatives, career opportunities, and future growth. Further, Integration will examine the ways in which social impact can be fully integrated into business models with both bottom up and top down approaches. The conference will look at best practices in creating community-based, long-term, and sustainable solutions.
