Box office opens at 7:00 pm on the night of the event until tickets are sold out. Then we screen cult director Wes Anderson's latest stop motion masterpiece, the Japan-set, canine-infused Isle of Dogs. When all the canine pets of Megasaki City are exiled to a vast garbage-dump called Trash Island, 12-year-old Atari sets off alone in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture. Featuring the voice talents of Bryan Cranston, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, Greta Gerwig, Edward Norton, and more, "Wes Anderson’s joyous stop-motion feature looks and sounds like nothing we’ve encountered before." (Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal) With a musical performance by Goosebump Doors open at 7:00 pm, Goosebump performs at 8:00 pm, and ISLE OF DOGS will begin when the sun goes down (roughly around 9:00 pm). All relevant event information will be sent to the email address provided when purchasing your ticket. Tickets are non-refundable. If an Open Roof Festival event is rained out, we will communicate with ticket holders of the event via the email address provided to issue a rain check for a future screening. Open Roof organizers track weather radar closely and will be able to make a call on whether an event is rained out by 6:15pm. Ticket holders will receive an email of this outcome and it will also be communicated on our social media. In the event you are not able to attend another screening, proceeds from your tickets will be donated to the festival.
