Jenson Button is one of the greatest racing drivers of his generation. His seventeen years in Formula 1 have seen him experience everything the sport has to offer, from nursing underpowered cars around the track to winning World Championships and everything in between.
Here, in his autobiography publishing October 2017, Jenson tells his full story for the first time in his own honest, intelligent and eloquent style. From growing up as part of a motor-racing-mad family under the guidance of his father, John, to arriving at Williams as a fresh-faced 20 year-old, to being written off by some as a playboy and his fight back to the very pinnacle of his sport. Jenson's World Championship victory for the unsponsored and unfancied Brawn GP team is one of the most extraordinary against-the-odds sports stories of the century.
Terms and conditions
· The event will commence at 6.30pm at Gracepoint, Islington
· Doors open at 5.30pm
· Early arrivals will be asked to leave and return at 5.30pm.
· Seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis
· The event is capped at 600, but please be prepared to queue
- This is a Q&A event only with no meet and greet with Jenson.
· Refreshments will not be available at the event but facilities are available at nearby outlets
· The exact time at which the event ends will be determined by the promoters on the day
· To avoid disappointment, we advise you not to arrive any later than the event start time
· You will receive your copy of the book at the venue - the book will be signed by Jenson Button on a book plate held within the book.
· A maximum of one book and one entry ticket per person
· Please note the event may be filmed, as an attendee you consent to footage of you being used for promotional purposes
· Any books not collected on the day will be held for 4 weeks only
· Tickets cannot be resold or transferred and shall not be purchased or obtained from or through any person, commercial agent, company or otherwise than directly by the applicant from Ticketmaster UK Ltd. Any tickets advertised for sale will be void
· Management have the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not comply with these rules or who fails to follow reasonable instructions on the day
