An Experiential Workshop Using the Techniques of Jungian Art Therapy Using HOME as a metaphor for the Self we will use active imagination, guided imagery and gesture to explore our personal search for our soul's journey. The experience of this workshop promises to nourish the symbolic attitude of the psyche and to touch our relationship with essence.Sondra Geller, MA, ATR-BC, LPC is a Jungian Analyst, a Board Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is in private practice in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She gives lectures and workshops for the George Washington University Art Therapy Master's Programs, Philadelphia Jung Institute/ PAJA, the Washington Jung Society and the CGJung Institute in Kusnacht, Switzerland. Her focus is on Making Art in the Presence of the Analyst, Jung and the Creative Process, and Jungian Art Therapy.PAJA/Philadelphia Jung Institute hosts Public Programs for all who are eager to explore and be enriched by the ideas of Carl Jung and analytical psychology for their personal and professional development. No prior knowledge of Jungian thought is required.Continuing education for degreed professionals is available. NBCC CE certificate: $10 (by cash or check at the event)Discounted parking available for lots at 1845 Walnut St. and 2101 Chestnut St. The Philadelphia Association of Jungian Analysts (PAJA) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP number 6671. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. PAJA is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.
