CosmoFEST performance clinics will be held in the intimate 240-seating capacity Cosmopolitan Music Hall. VIP tickets ($30) allow attendees to enter the music hall first and select their seats (first-come, first-serve on event day) as well as guaranteed front of the line access to the Meet & Greet (separate time and event, first-come first-serve on event day). VIP ticket holders should arrive early on event day to present ticket in exchange for a numbered wristband (for their position in line to choose their music hall seat and Meet & Greet line position). Cosmo Music opens at 9 am on event day. General Admission tickets ($15) allow attendees to enter the music hall after the VIP ticket holders to and select their seat (first-come, first-serve on event day). In January 2021 Lari Basilio released, in partnership with Ibanez Guitars, her first signature guitar, the Ibanez LB1, which is already one of Ibanez’s best-selling signature models alongside Steve Vai and Joe Satriani’s. At the age of four she started studying organ and later, at the age of eight her father taught her first chords on an acoustic guitar. That's when she fell in love with the guitar. After her first work in 2011, her second original work, the CD and DVD The Sound of My Room, was released in August 2015 and it was premiered at the iconic Brazilian movie theatre Cine Belas Artes in São Paulo. “The idea of taking instrumental guitar music to a movie theatre proved (to be) a creative initiative (equal to) the compositions of Lari Basilio,” said Guitar Player Brazil magazine in its October, 2015 issue. The 10-song package includes a mini-documentary and behind-the-scenes footage on the DVD. Lari also won the instrumental category of the Samsung E-Festival in 2014 and performed for a crowd of 15,000 alongside Keb’ Mo’ and Quinn Sullivan at the Samsung Best of Blues Festival in Brazil. She was then invited by Joe Satriani to be part of the G4 Experience 2019. Always pursuing her own music, Lari released her third original work, Far More album, recorded at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles with an all-star band: Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), Nathan East (bass), and Greg Phillinganes (keys/piano). Also bringing two very special guests: Joe Satriani (on the track "Glimpse of Light") and Siedah Garrett (on the track "Man in The Mirror", for which Lari created a new arrangement). Lari Basilio’s most recent album Your Love was released on August 5, 2022 and debuted at high positions on iTunes Rock Charts around the world. The album features once again Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), and also the bass players Sean Hurley and Leland Sklar, and Ester Na (keys and piano) recorded at United Recording Studios in Los Angeles. In terms of her set-up, her amplifier can sometimes change, but its always a Laney. Her ‘main rig’ is a Lionheart L20T-212, a Class A 20-watt amplifier loaded with two differing twelve-inch speakers from Celestion. One is a G12H ‘Greenback’ and the other is a Vintage 30. The use of channel 1 on the Lionheart is a great way to show the amplifiers pure tonal characteristic, it allows the player to get a sound with a lot of headroom, but headroom that is crystal clear and sharp, a very classic ‘British’ sound, and of course, a sound synonymous with the Laney Lionheart. Lari also uses other Laney amps, including the Cub-Super (12, SuperTop) and the Ironheart (SLS, IRT60H). These have been useful for her where a different tonal flavour has been required, including the Ironheart for more ‘out the box’ high gain, something the Ironheart is famous for.
