Laughter Class is a lecture series from the Push Comedy Theater that finds all-star comedians, actors, and performers from across the country to give a one hour lecture on their current passions. Learn the ins and outs of comedy from speakers including Emmy award winners, published writers, voice actors, theater directors, movie and TV stars, seasoned improvisers, sketch comedians, and more.
Come What May: CommitmentThe ways that acting informs and illuminates my life. Or, stories of my awkward interactions with other human beings, some of them famous, and how I could possibly be so bad at it.
Keith Flippen:
Keith was conceived in the Bahamas, grew up in Cajun Louisiana, studied and worked in Russia, danced in the lightning, but never learned to swim. He has been a film, tv, and voiceover actor for 30 years, an agent for four, a casting director for one. For 20 of those years he has also taught acting. He has a love / hate relationship with his career because his career has a love / hate relationship with him. He is married to his partner of 25 years with a great dog and a parrot whose soul purpose, it now seems, is to exhibit undying hatred for Keith’s existence. They live to be 75. What was I thinking?
