Join the Runnymede Society for Law & Freedom 2024 on Friday, February 2 and Saturday, February 3 at the University of Toronto's Hart House. Each year, our national conference brings together over 200 scholars, lawyers, and law students to hear from the some of the brightest minds in Canada’s legal community on some of the most pressing issues facing the profession.
Our conference this year feature two keynote sessions: on Friday evening, Chief Justice Michael Tulloch and Justice Peter Lauwers of the Court of Appeal for Ontario will engage in a fireside discussion, and on Saturday evening Justice Malcolm Rowe of the Supreme Court of Canada will be delivering a special lecture. See our full conference schedule below, which features panels on federalism, defamation law, judicial authority, common law rights, constitutional amendment, and administrative law.
