Get an introduction to portraiture by painting your own self-portrait in this adult-level painting class with artist and educator, Arlinda Henderson! Intended for painters aged 18 and up, the class will take place from 6-8 pm on July 7th in the Upstairs Studio of the St. Mane Theatre.
This class is all about self-expression! Participants will learn acrylic portrait painting techniques and use them to create their own self-portraits on canvas. Self-portraiture not only invites the painter to consider themselves visually but also communicates something deeper about personality and emotion.
Arlinda Henderson is a landscape and portrait artist with 20 years of teaching experience. A lifetime resident of Minnesota, she is inspired by the state’s natural beauty. After painting primarily in the Northwoods, she is excited to discover and paint the beauty of bluff country.
