Contemporary Dance
announces the creation of Utah’s newest professional dance festival: LINK (May 14-19) — an event unique to the Salt
Lake City area
which will connect 100
participants from
everywhere from Indiana
to India
with 15 dance companies
from across the region
and 10 cutting-edge
choreographers
from across the nation.
The festival will open its doors to the public for two culminating nights of performances where audiences can see a gala by LINK’s 15 guest companies and projects (Friday, May 18) and witness the debut of new dance works created for festival participants by the 10 invited choreographers (Saturday, May 19).
