Description
W.IN is the London Games Festival’s networking event for women working in games, interactive and related creative industries. It is inclusive and welcoming to all but exclusively features female speakers and stories.
Over the last two years the event has hosted talks and panels featuring expert developers, writers, producers and presenters from a range of backgrounds and ages - some of them rising stars, others established and award-winning… all of them with impressive impact and potential in games.
These have included Naomi Alderman, Rhianna Pratchett, Violet Berlin, Fran Scott, Ellie Gibson, Erin O' Brien, Lily and Violet Adams (AKA the Nerd Pirates), Laura Taranto, Cara Ellison, Elisha Brown and Laurence Bouvard.
The event includes bookending networking sessions around an inspirational keynote, an on-stage interview and a no-holds-barred fireside chat.
W.IN is unique, informal, inclusive and inspirational.
W.IN returns to the games festival in 2018 on the afternoon of Friday, 13 April - with a focus on the topics of mentoring and entrepreneurship.
A large part of our ticket allocation is free to established organisations, networks and companies that are actively supporting or running networks for women; we also have free +1 tickets for mentors or mentees - contact info@games.london to find out more about access.
