London Hack Day - with Ticketmaster & Transport for London, hosted during London Tech week 2017 Customer Value Proposition: Bring ideas to life at the London Hack Day hosted by Ticketmaster and TfL! - Bring your creativity and imagination - Collaborate with the cream of London’s tech community - Innovate on cool new tech - Bring your ideas to life! Hosted @ Ticketmaster’s famous London HQ #TMHackTFL @LDNTechWeek ‏@TicketmasterUK @TfL Event details: Ticketmaster opened up their platform last year with flexible and powerful APIs that allow developers to benefit from the huge scale of data from events it operates across the globe. Since then Ticketmaster have run 10 hackathons across the planet to engage with developer communities, next stop London! TfL have provided Open Data since 2007, and more recently launched a free-to-access Unified API (visit api.tfl.gov.uk for the latest data feeds), and now have a data subscriber database of 12, 000+ registered application developers and organisations. TfL have run hackathons to encourage adoption of the API and encourage the use of data by 3rd party developers across multiple application domains with over 600 apps powered by TfL data. By partnering together, Ticketmaster and TfL hope to inspire the next generation of apps that will provide truly meaningful experiences for both London residents and visitors seeking the best live experiences with the best means of getting there! We invite you to come and be part of this exciting future, and bring your ideas to life! Target audience: Developers, Coders, Problem Solvers, Digital Experts, Technical Architects, Business Analysts, Students, UX/Designers Whether you've been in the tech community for years, or just starting out with an IT course or degree, you're very welcome! The combined experience of Ticketmaster and TfL in running hackathons means that we'll make you feel right at home from the first minute.
