For more than 30 years, Loverboy has been “Working for the Weekend” and on weekends, delighting audiences around the world since forming in Calgary, Alberta, when vocalist Mike Reno was introduced to local guitar hot shot Paul Dean, both veterans of several bands on the scene, at that city’s Refinery Night Club. Their chart topping hits include "Turn Me Loose", "Working for the Weekend", "Hot Girls in Love", "Lovin' Every Minute of It" and "Heaven in Your Eyes". John Waite began his music journey as the lead vocalist for The Babys who rocketed to Top 20 chart positions with a pair of infections hits, “Isn’t it Time” and “Every Time I Think of You” During John’s solo career he soared to international acclaim and U.S. platinum success thanks to the smash hit, “Missing You”. Waite also fronted supergroup, Bad English, known for the group’s ballad, “When I See You Smile”. Mad Rabbit will open the night on the main stage! They are best known as Michigan's Live Jukebox™ and Michigan's Ultimate Hare Band! Mad Rabbit features one of the strongest female vocalists in the area and perform songs to not only showcase her range but to also push the boundaries of "safe, easy" covers and play many of the hits that you forgot you loved. Opened for Bret Michaels and The Romantics. Accurately cover Pat Benatar, Triumph, Rush, Heart, Led Zeppelin, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Warrant, Cinderella, Evanescence, Halestorm, Janis Joplin, Alanis Morisette, RATT and AC/DC.
