LuminoCity Festival is a dynamic holiday light festival and immersive art experience that will take place on Randall’s Island in New York City during the 2019 holiday season. LuminoCity Festival is an exciting new addition to many of New York City’s important holiday experiences, such asthe Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, the Radio City Rockettes and the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration.
Running from November 23, 2019, to January 5, 2020, LuminoCity will offer visitors an extraordinary 16-acre immersive experience with three theme parks: Winter Fantasy, Wild Adventure, and Sweet Dream, highlighted with:
Over 23 sets of larger-than-life light art displays.
A curated holiday night market with a selection of NYC’s leading food and beverage offerings available every night.
4 special theme nights featuring live performances and interactive programming.
Themed with the original adventure story of Lumi, a magical light bulb born out of the Unicorn’s horn, LuminoCity Festival creates a visual fantasy world where forests light up the night, life-size dinosaurs sparkle near a volcano, a glowing moon honors the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, and a towering Christmas tree is visible for miles. Led by Lumi, families, visitors, and all those seeking to enjoy the holiday season will explore this fantastic wonderland through a visually spectacular light art experience.
