Description
Celebrate the magic of the season with the entire family! Children and adults of all ages are invited to journey with Clara and her magical Nutcracker doll as Drosselymeyer guides her through the land of the snow to meet the fierce Snow Queen and then to the Kingdom of Sweets to meet the delightful dancers from all over the land including the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy. The Magic City Nutcracker is proud to be Birmingham’s premiere community nutcracker production featuring local student and professional dancers. Guest principal artists Morgan McEwen (BalletMet, MorDance) and Brian Gephart (Joffrey Ballet, MorDance) will perform the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her cavalier.
Show runtime is approximately 1.5 hours with a 15 minute intermission
