MamBa: A Mambo (NY Salsa On2)/Bachata & Kizomba/Urban Kiz Experience: the festival put on by dancers for dancers!
Held at the Executive Plaza Hotel in Richmond, B.C., Canada, MamBa is a festival for dancers to come together and get inspired by a Mambo/Bachata/Kizomba/Urban Kiz Retreat, with 3 equally LARGE room for social dancing too!
It's time to get back to the basics, back to the roots of your dancing. This is a chance for you to get immersed in the music, culture, SABOR!! Bring back the passion for dance and love of the music that made you fall in love with dance in the first place.
For this festival, we will be offering an immersive style experience, not single, mix & match workshops. Choose between either bachata or Salsa NY On2 or Kizomba/Urban Kiz, and get ready to take your dancing to another level. This is your chance to get back to the roots without any other distractions. Learn mambo (NY Salsa On2), Bachata or Kizomba/Urban Kiz musicality: dancing isn't just how you move your body to the music- it is also sensitivity to, or knowledge of the music.
We have also heard from all of you who are die-hard Mambo or Bachata or Kizomba/Urban Kiz dancers, but are also curious about learning a bit of the other dances. Or, maybe you have heard so much about one of the awesome instructors we are bringing here, and would love to try one of their classes... So, we are offering Full Pass holders to try drop ins to bootcamp classes of a different dance than the Full Pass you have purchased. You can sample any class, regardless of which Full Pass you've purchased, for just $10, or 3 for $25. Please note: We encourage the dancers to take advantage of your full pass full immersion as the workshops are progressive, so we discourage "samplers" BUT if you really want to attend your favorite artist, then you have the "sampler" to take advantage of.
Please NOTE: You will need to have a Full Pass in order for you to try a “sampler”class.
These drop in samplers will be only available for purchase at the door, with purchase of a Full Pass.

Learn from instructors who are true artists of their dance, be inspired by their performances AND still have hours of social dancing time! Come out and dance!
