This virtual foray will focus on how to SAFELY
identify wild medicinal plants and how to make them into beautiful herbal medicines. Join
us for 2 hours with aboriginal herbalist, Lori Snyder, in her garden
covering edible medicinal plants both native and invasive. Learn how to
identify, care for and prepare these powerful plants into simple
medicines like tinctures, tisanes and balms. She'll cover which parts of
each plant to use for healing and which to leave for the bees.

email you the 2 hour video package, watch them anytime. Lori will be
available by email to answer any questions. The great thing about these
videos is you can have them on your phone to refer to whenever you're
foraging. It's like she's in your jacket pocket:)
Infield day: On June 22nd (6-7pm), Lori will be online to answer questions on the wild plants she's
covered. So you can be infield and she can help you with ID or
watch the video at home whenever/wherever is convenient and email her questions. Note that you are not allowed to harvest from BC parks..
