Description

The ceremony will usually take around 20 minutes, and the garden will remain open for one-hour afterwards, to enable you to spend time there and view your plaque. During the ceremony, our Club Chaplain and Club Ambassador will say a few words to honour those remembered. Location: Tynecastle Park Stadium, Edinburgh Access: Public Gate on Wheatfield Street, EH11 2PB Access will be via the public gate at the bottom of Wheatfield Street, opposite the Wheatfield Stand turnstiles. The gates will be opened for the ceremony at 13:15. A staff member will be there to guide you to the correct place. The pathway will take you to the Memorial Garden entrance gate. Parking is available locally on the streets off Gorgie Road, including Wheatfield Street. Please note, you are welcome to bring freshly cut flowers to place in the garden, but please do not bring any plastic or permanent items. Under no circumstances can we allow ashes to be scattered in the Memorial Garden; any ashes left behind will be removed and disposed of. Our volunteer gardener takes great care of the flowers and plants in the Memorial Garden to keep it blooming all year round. Covid-19 Safety: The garden is an outdoor space, and as such we do not require you to wear a mask, however you must wear a mask when entering the room of remembrance, or the bathroom facilities. Please be mindful of other people's personal space within the garden. If your party is likely to be larger than 10 people please email heritage@homplc.co.uk to discuss alternative arrangements. When booking your tickets just scroll down to the bottom and select the Register button rather than entering individual ticket details.
