Description

My name is Michael Fraser, I'm a full time violin teacher, touring musician and music composer. Throughout my 20 years of experience I've had the opportunity to study music at the Vancouver Academy and Vancouver Community College. The learning program I have developed is geared at following my student's needs and desires. Basic technique, music repertoire, theory and improvisation are just a few skills I'm able to offer throughout my lessons. I've performed as a solo artist and with bands on tour across Canada, US and Europe, scored exclusive cues for film directors such as Ben Affleck, recorded on dozens of independent rock albums with my string quartet Four On The Floor including Germany's Matthias Strum, Australia's Kim Churchill and Canada's Top 3 Peak Performance Project winner, Dominique Fricot.
