Echo Jazz winner Sebastian Studnitzky, also known as KY, is a wizard on the piano and saxophone, masterfully combining unpretentious yet complex melodies with a deeply emotional minimalism. Especially for the XJAZZ Festival, Studnitzky and Moritz von Oswald will create an unprecedented collaboration. The latter is considered one of the key figures in the electronic music of Berlin in the 90s. He was part of the legendary formation Palais Schaumburg, is an essential part of the in-house productions of the legendary Berlin club Tresor and worked closely with Detroit techno legend Juan Atkins. Come and be entranced when two masters of their trade blur the boundaries between jazz, club music and avant-garde in an exclusive show.
