What is this? Barça Academy Camp is the OFFICIAL FC BARCELONA Soccer Camp that will teach your player how to play its unique style of play that makes it different from the rest of the teams in the world. Learn how players like Messi, Xavi, or Iniesta did and play the Barça way. We use values like leadership, discipline, respect, teamwork, effort and enthusiasm to help your player grow. Who is the right person for this? Boys and girls ages 6 to 16 years old at all playing levels are welcomed. Our goal is to help players develop existing abilities that can make them grow and understand how to take decisions to improve on and off the pitch! Why should someone get it? It's one stop shop to: LEARN THE UNIQUE BARÇA METHODOLOGY - Unique style of play that makes it different from the rest of the teams in the world. LEARN THE VALUES OF BARÇA ACADEMY - Creative and attacking brand of football and the promotion of positive values: Respect, effort, ambition, teamwork and humility. TRAIN WITH OFFICIAL FC BARCELONA COACHES - Coaches from Spain will supervise all of the sessions throughout the camp to assure the same level of quality, professionalism and authenticity that is received in Barcelona. HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRAIN IN BARCELONA - Several players from each FCB Camp will be selected to train in Barcelona at the exclusive FC Barcelona HQ IMPROVE YOUR TECHNICAL & TACTICAL SKILLS - Improve the underlying techniques of soccer accurately, consistently and at match tempo. Players will be given a complete perspective on tactics to understand each role and position. FAQs WHAT COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE WE TAKING DURING CAMPS? The safety of players, families, and our staff is our first concern. We have successfully executed previous camps (in 2020) and our full-time academies in Nashville and in Virginia with COVID safety protocols and we will apply them at camps. All staff members will undergo testing and we will comply with all state regulations for this type of event aiming to create a safe environment for all of us. Finally, our COVID safety plan was used as a model by TSSA for the safe return to soccer in 2020 and we are in close contact with the leadership there to continue adapting to best practices. WHAT IS THE UNIFORM? Each participant will need to purchase in advance the full FC Barcelona Soccer Camp training kit that includes a Nike jersey, a pair of Nike shorts, and a pair of Nike socks directly from our partners Soccer.com. Uniform 2021 Camps WHAT DOES THE PLAYER HAVE TO BRING DURING THE CAMP? You’ll receive a welcome note a couple of weeks before camp with detailed Instructions for each camp but generally players must bring: Soccer cleats Individual water bottle Packed lunch and snacks Sunscreen Full Training Kit (Jersey, shorts, socks)
