Musical Improv + Monocle + Faces for Radio Monocle Monocle: The Improvised One-Act Play is a group of five good friends with over 50 years of combined improv & stage experience ready to make you laugh your ass off! Here's how our show works:We ask the audience for any song lyric (except "Hit me, baby, one more time." Ew.) With that one lyrical suggestion, we will improvise a brand new, never before seen one-act play! We make up big, funny characters, extravagant sets, & compelling storylines right in front of your eyes. It may be dramatic, maybe even a little tragic, but it's always funny (we are dipshits)!Our show may look like we rehearsed it somehow, but we promise you there is no script. Just lots of laughs & lots of fun! Comedy! Drama! Spectacle! Monocle! . Faces for Radio Faces for Radio is a comedic live radio play coming out of the Push Comedy Theatre in Norfolk, VA. Members include the vocal talents of Scot Rose and Hilary Stallings and the sound effect stylings of Lindsay Horne. The show is a raunchy and provocative take on Radio Shows from the 30s and 40s; think Saturday Night Live meets the George Burns and Gracie Allen Show. Originally written wacky characters, slap-stick sound effects and old-school advertisements; Faces for Radio is sure to delight people in their 20s to those born in the 20s.
