4:00 PM - 4:20 PM | Negotiating Tips for Women led by Hannah Marks, startup vet and entrepreneur (formally Marketing @ Lyft). In 2019, women earned 79 cents for every dollar earned by men (and less for women of color). While several factors impact this statistic, negotiating is an important step in closing this gap. Join for an open discussion around salary negotiation and walk away with the confidence get what you deserve.
4:30 PM - 4:50 PM | Land your Dream Job with Miguel Guerreiro, Engineering Manager at Jornaya, discusses how to excel at technical interviews. We will cover resumes, phone screens, and in-person interviews. Learn the skills that will help you land that dream job.
5:00 PM - 5:20 PM | NET/WORK Like A Natural with Emily Meekins & Jacqueline Wallace, People Ops @ Seer Interactive: Let's face it -- Walking up to a potential employer and leaving an impactful first impression is intimidating. We found if you can nail the bookends of your conversation, everything in between falls into place. This chat will dive into how to open and close your NET/WORK convos, plus the do's and don'ts of what comes next (re: the follow up)
5:30 PM - 5:50 PM | Building SAFE Web Applications in F#/.NET Core with Andrew McGuier SAFE stack is a high productivity, type-safe, developer-focused set of libraries for building web applications in F# on .NET. Building with SAFE you can share code and a language from your build scripts, server-side code down to the client. We'll look at a small SAFE application using a shared event loop and type-safe models between the client and the server.

Refund Policy:
For events hosted by Technical.ly, Technical.ly will honor full refunds for orders canceled 30 days or more prior to the ticketed event. If cancelled 29 days or fewer before the event, the ticket can be transferred to another guest or applied as credit for a future Technical.ly event. NO CREDITS OR REFUNDS will be given to cancellations made within 24 hours or less of the event.
Attendees are responsible for their own travel to and timely arrival at the event.
