UPDATE!The night market idea was so well received that we've filled every vendor spot! We appreciate your interest, maybe we'll see you next year! Sounds awesome, what is it?Amid the backdrop of twinkling string lights, the Night Market will attract nearby workers, neighborhood residents, students and visitors alike to spend Friday evenings eating, drinking, shopping, dancing and listening to music in the Commercial Street Plaza.To be held Friday nights beginning September 4th thru October 2nd 2015. Relying on the local craftspeople, artist, entertainers, musicians and food vendors, the Commercial Street Night market will host approximately 20 vendors and 5 food vendors to give market goers an opportunity to experience Bellingham like they have never seen. Rotating vendors will help keep the event fresh and lively.Interested in Participating? We’re looking for crafts people, makers and entertainers to add to the festivities. If you have a sculpture that glows in the dark, are a roving poet or fortune teller, can teach people crafts while they drink and listen to music, want to showcase your latest invention, organize dance parties or do any other crazy, festive activity– let us know!How do I do Apply? The Vendor Application Fee is $10.00, payable now. (Once we receive your application here, you will be contacted by our staff who will discuss your participation. At that point, we will confirm the number of nights you'll vend and your remaining balance. Non-food Vendor Fee Per Night $35.00, payable after selection process. Food Vendor Per Night $75.00, payable after selection process.* Please note, this is a separate application. We will be accepting applications throughout the weeks the market is being run to fill rotating vendor spots, but priority will be given to those who have applied by Aug. 3rd. We will be in touch.
