After making his 1st team debut in April 1896, Bobby scored an incredible 266 goals in 655 matches, 33 of them coming in the Edinburgh Derby; a record unsurpassed in Edinburgh Football. Bobby scored Hearts 1000th league goal and was the first Hearts player to score 100 league goals. Bobby was the first Scotland player to win 25 caps, when he retired his record of 29 caps stood for 20 years, only Kenny Dalglish has held the record for a longer period. Bobby has been inducted in both the Heart of Midlothian and Scottish Football Hall of Fame.
