Today he is one of America's most talked-about chefs, celebrated for the ingredient-focused cuisine he serves at the Los Angeles restaurant, Rustic Canyon.
In his first book, On Vegetables: Modern Recipes for the Home Kitchen, Fox presents his food philosophy in the form of 160 approachable recipes for the home cook. The highly anticipated cookbook brings Fox’s approach of creating vegetable-based cuisine with global appeal to readers and cooks. On Vegetables elevates vegetarian cooking, using creative methods and ingredient combinations to highlight the textures, flavours, and varieties of seasonal produce and including basic recipes for the larder.
George Brown College is offering a special panel conversation with Fox along with local chefs Jason Bangerter of Langdon Hall, Evelyn Wu of Boralia, farmer Gillian Files of The New Farm and Chef John Higgins of George Brown College, moderated by George Brown College alum Miriam Streiman, formerly of Mad Maple.
