Join us on Friday, August 25th to celebrate those who have fought for our country, and to hear the stories of local veterans told through songs written by Nashville Songwriters. After the event, all tickets include a show from Aquanett: An 80's Metal and Rock Tribute.
DOORS: 6PM
SHOWTIME: 6:30PM
ALL TICKET PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO OPERATION SONG TO BENEFIT VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
THE MISSION: Operation Song's mission is to empower veterans and their family members to tell their stories through the process of songwriting.
Award-winning Nashville Songwriters with hits written for Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, Lee Brice, Luke Brian, Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert, Ingrid Andress and many more pair with local veterans to unpack their stories and tell them through song. Over 1400 songs have been written with veterans of WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Gold Star Families.
This event has been hosted at the Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman Auditorium, Country Music Hall fo Fame and more, and has been nationally recognized by the GI Film Festival in San Diego, Sunday Today Show, CBS Evening News, and others.
