Singer songwriter Sol Aravena and Cuban pianist Pablo Cardenas are bringing an special evening with her original music, Latin American classics, boleros and more. Sol is one of those unique singers that we can rarely see nowadays, from Coyhaique, Chile, she studied classical piano and composition at the Modern Music School. She became one of the most acclaimed voices of Chile after releasing her production Historia Leyenda under Warner Music, with a big success of her song “Atrévete a Amar”, then worked on a project called “Muza” that involved four albums with a mystical vibe using the combination of the sounds of nature with life noises and the fusion of lyrics in Spanish and English. A few years later she was given the Independent music award in USA for her album “Cambios de Estación” as best electronic album. She also toured through USA showing that fresh concept that continued its development on her CD of electronic boleros “Terciopelo”, also awarded for her innovative arrangement of “Bésame Mucho”. She has kept releasing singles and collaborating on different projects and music for movie soundtracks. Sol is settled now in Vancouver Island and has been promoting her latest production called “Latin Muza” with a more acoustic concept. She has been collaborating with Pablo’s different projects lately, their special musical connection always captivate the audience and keep them intrigued for what’s coming next. Apart from being a musical innovator by nature, Sol has reflected on her lyrics the reality of the life she had lived, defending our ecosystem, making us reflect, and talking about things that matter to all. The type of artist that Vancouver Island needs to see.
