"March 2019 was the start of the world experiencing life changing approaches to health and society. It was also the start of a journey in which my whole life was blown apart. After blood tests, scans and biopsies I was told I had Pancreatic Cancer and it was inoperable. Fast forward 24 months I am only still here by receiving life saving surgery and Gut wrenching Chemotherapy.
Pancreatic Cancer is a silent killer and you only feel the symptoms when it’s is full blown. 1 in 3 people who are diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer die within the first three months. The funding for Pancreatic research is relevantly low compared to other Cancers due to the high immorality rate. The publishing of Pancreatic Cancer is also minimal.
Unfortunately, I have received a set back in my fight to face this Cancer on. Whilst I am able to fight I want to put my energies into spending time with my sons and raising money to develop research and better knowledge of Pancreatic Cancer.
