Purpose:
To update the Worker's Compensation billing and payer communities on changes to Rule 16 - Utilization Standards and Rule 18 - Medical Fee Schedule, effective January 1, 2018;
Meet with the public to address billing and payment specifics that are brought to the seminars. For scheduling one-on-one discussion regarding justification of billed codes, please bring current issues with documentation (Bill, EOB or EOR and Medical Records);
Listen to and take back to the DWC management the Colorado worker's compensation constituents' issues affecting an injured worker's access to health care provider(s), including worker's compensation provider and payer billing and payment concerns.
