Description
About the Event:
Solar development isn’t new to New England, but the recent solar boom in Maine has garnered significant attention both for the speed at which projects were queued up and the interest across the border as to whether NH could soon witness the same economic and environmental benefits. This special Clean Energy NH educational event will dive into how NH can best prepare for an increase of large-scale solar development so that land use, conservation, and clean energy generation are balanced and successful. Expert speakers will cover hot topics including interconnection, stormwater management, dual-use agriculture, biodiversity, and more. In addition, the event will feature an opportunity for attendees to weigh-in on land-use issues specific to NH. $25 CENH Members, $40 Non-Members. Become a member online at www.cleanenergynh.org.
Attendees:
Solar developers, clean energy advocates, conservation stakeholders, policymakers, regulators, environmentalists, land-use professionals, legal representatives, and anyone interested in the topics are encouraged to register and attend.
